About Me
Cakes By Chrissie was born on the 40th wedding anniversary of my parents-in-law. After being asked by a number of people if I had ever thought of making cakes professionally, I took the plunge. With previous experience in the catering industry both in the UK and South Africa, it was a natural progression for me. Having grown up in South Africa and travelled extensively around the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Europe I was exposed to a myriad of culinary styles and flavour combinations from a young age.
At Cakes by Chrissie I specialise in creating both wonderful and unique cakes for every occasion. I create bespoke wedding cakes, celebration cakes, birthday cakes, fairy cakes, cupcakes, tray bakes, brownies or just a cake for an afternoon tea.
I pride myself on providing a personal and friendly service; no job is too big or too small. All of my cakes combine the finest local ingredients with the utmost attention to detail to provide you with an exceptional and memorable centrepiece for your celebration.
Wedding cakes and celebration cakes can be made in traditional rich fruitcake, a variety of flavoured sponges, including chocolate fudge, red velvet, Dulce de Leche and luxury vanilla or any other thing that takes your fancy.
I am based in Devizes, Wiltshire and serve customers from all over the South West including Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset and Gloucestershire.
